Starting this spring Artspace will be regular visitors to We Are Super in the Sovereign.Many of you will be familiar with Artspace from their premises on the High Street. They are a community of artists and makers who invite anyone keen to create to join them. As Artspace currently have no fixed abode, they have been spreading their skills at drop-in sessions all around town. We Are Super were keen to collaborate too!
Starting this April, we will be hosting a series of workshops, and everyone is welcome to come along!
To launch this collaboration, we will be having an exhibition of Artspace members work on the 12th of April from 2pm to 5pm. The work will include a large collaborative piece, individual work and an interactive artwork- all on the theme of ‘Community’.
On the 11th of April we will be having a private view from 6pm to 8pm. Please join us for a drink, a look at the beautiful work, a touch of creativity, and a chat with Artspace members. You can also bring along your own piece of work to add to the collage expressing your vision of ‘Community’.
