About this Event
Join us on Saturday, June 7 at the UW-Madison Arboretum visitor's center for an inter-organization after action review of the Fall 2024 and Spring 2025 burn seasons. Bring any experiences, questions or reflections from recent prescribed burns. Brief presentations on specific events are welcomed. Please contact us for presentation guidelines.
We'll be discussing current Wisconsin Prescribed Fire Council initiatives, observed fire behavior and fire effects, planning and implementation (successes and lessons learned), incidents and near misses, and maintaining operational preparedness. Bring any other topics of interests for discussion, as well.
This event is held in partnership with the Wisconsin Prescribed Fire Council and the UW-Madison Arboretum, who has generously provided the space for the event.
