Exploring Ecstatic Partner Dance // Fusion
We will be workshopping different concepts to build confidence and bring connection and partner dance to free flowing dance settings. Combining the framework of partner dance socials with the freedom, and conscious dance journeys, of ecstatic dance.
This workshop will offer exercises consent and connection. Providing tools to help invite/initiate dances, and respectfully decline/leave a dance. Discover different ways to connect with people within a dance space, explore the roles of lead and follow, creating conversation within a dance, and moving in and out of frame in creative ways.
We'll incorporate teachings from a number of dance styles: Fusion, Contact Improv, Kizomba, Tarraxo, Micro, Free Flowing Movements, Nia, and Flocking. And give a sense of how they can all come together and create something unique.

You don't need to have any dance/ partner dance experience to attend this event. Come alone or with some friends.
