Participants will learn about the growing prevalence of metabolic dysfunction—including insulin resistance, obesity, and chronic inflammation—and how these conditions impact overall health and longevity.
The session will delve into evidence-based strategies for optimizing metabolic health, such as nutrition, movement, stress management, and sleep.
Special attention will be given to the role of GLP-1 (Glucagon-Like Peptide-1) receptor agonists, a class of medications originally developed for diabetes management, now recognized for their effects on appetite regulation and weight loss.
We’ll discuss how GLP-1 therapies can be thoughtfully integrated into a healthy lifestyle plan, emphasizing that medication is most effective when paired with foundational lifestyle changes.
Class will end with a seated movement and breath-work practice.
