Register Here: https://forms.gle/Pqsci4VrbeKGbW7k6The Instrument Festival is an opportunity for students ages 0-18 to perform a selected piece on their musical instrument. It is not a competition. Students will be adjudicated by highly qualified music educators and performers with years of expertise educating young musicians. All participants will receive feedback on their piece as well as a certificate with a rating based on a 10-point score in a variety of musical areas. There is no minimum or maximum amount of years of study; however, that will be factored into the adjudication. Please read the guidelines below for more information.
Registration
All participants are registered through the registration link. No participants will be registered via email, phone, text or in person. Students may register for one piece (maximum of 4 minutes in length) per instrument up to 3 different instruments. If a student wishes to participate on multiple instruments, a separate registration must be completed for EACH instrument. (If the festival receives more applicants than time allows, students who register on multiple instruments may be asked to reduce the number of instruments they enter starting with the newest applicants moving back to the earliest applicants as needed.) Registration is free. Space is limited. Students who register and do not show up for the performance without adequate prior notice, may not be eligible to participate in future festivals. A piano and organ will be made available for performers. Any other instruments needed must be provided by the performer. (Only Instrumental participants at this time please/no vocal entries.)
Registration Deadline: April 30, 2025
Guests
Parents, teachers, and friends are invited and encouraged to attend. There is no charge to enter, but a love offering will be accepted at the door. The donations will be used to cover the expenses associated with hosting the festival. Any additional money collected will be donated to the church as a thank you for allowing us to use the space.
