Object Dragmit Robin Leveroos
Object Drag is an ongoing project giving love and flamboyant care to our household items, sending them on queer vacations from subservience to humans. We’ll get to know, pamper, preen, and make over our inanimate pals. As part of this residency, we’ll play with the topic from various angles and invite special guests. Part physical activity, part craft circle, part beauty salon. Come with your twisted ideas and open imaginations. This is an experiment in collective inquiry.
This event will be held in German or English depending on the needs of the group
During the workshop we want to launch a collective art project open to all members of the Stretch Village community and friends.
The participants are invited to bring a useful object from home that deserves a break and a piece of fabric to share

Robin Leveroos is an interdisciplinary artist working under the moniker Macromatter. Rooted in performance design and puppetry, their practice focuses on queer use of objects, experimental animation, and the neglected art of play. They love dancing, drawing, dressing up, and spending hours on end building intricate and odd artifacts by hand. They’ve been creating and sharing work in both institutional and unorthodox spaces for the past 15 years
Robin is artist in Residency by Instinct Berlin at Village Berlin from January untill April 2021. Their work will be presented at the next Instinct.Berlin exhibition on April 1st.
