Mr. Ahmed Sumair has an MBA and M.S (Computer Science and IT) degree with 18 years of experience in the field of Banking, Information Technology, Digital Financial Services and Payment Systems. He has been involved in various policy making bodies including regulations for Pakistan’s Instant Payment System-Raast, Payment Systems Operators/Payment Service Providers, Branchless Banking, Electronic Money Institution, Enterprise Technology Governance Framework for Banks. Currently he is serving as Joint Director in State Bank of Pakistan and is leading the initiative for enabling the Banking industry to channelize QR Code payments in the country.
