About this Event
Join us for an inspiring evening with Nick Lavery, an active-duty member of the United States Army Special Forces, on Saturday, October 5th, from 6:00 PM to 9:00 PM at Theater N, 1007 Orange Street, Wilmington, DE, 19801.
Nick Lavery, a Green Beret, lost his leg in an insider attack during a deployment to Afghanistan in 2013. Refusing medical retirement, he rejoined his unit in 2015 after a year of recovery and became the first Special Forces operator to return to combat as an above-the-knee amputee. Nick is now a Special Forces Warrant Officer and an expert in special operations, intelligence fusion, mission planning, and complex problem-solving.
In this engaging talk, Nick will share his views on leadership, resilience, community, identity, and the power of habit. His remarkable journey and insights will leave you motivated and empowered.
This event is hosted by Consequence of Habit, a 501(c)(3) organization dedicated to inspiring change in our communities.
