Hanna Bahr (They/She) is a singer/songwriter from Washington Heights, NYC. They graduated UCLA in 2019 with a B.A. in Music with a focus on classical performance, being a part of many operas. They also got their certificate in Audio Engineering from SAE NY in 2022. In 2020 they received a Grammy in the category for Best Chorale Performance for their participation in the choir for Richard Danielpour’s “The Passion of Yeshua.” In 2022, they received The National Board of Review’s Marion Carter Green award for best use of music in a film for their participation as songwriter and composer for the short film “Max and Taco Get Their Shit Together.” They’ve been writing songs since they were 13 years old they’re currently working on recording their first album. Some of Hanna’s inspirations include Taylor Swift, The National, Lana Del Rey, Boygenius and The Mountain Goats.
