Bio:
Daniel Brenner is a Brooklyn-based singer-songwriter known for his rich baritone and lyrically charged songs. Best recognized as the frontman of Brenner and the Barbarians, his solo performances strip things down to folk-inflected acoustic arrangements while still carrying the raw edge of his rock roots. His voice channels shades of Morrison, Holly, and Ferry, while his songwriting evokes the dark romanticism of Ian Curtis, Morrissey, Lou Reed, and Neil Young. Brenner is currently completing his debut LP, Bowery Bum, with the first single “Make It Up” set for release later this year.
