Our first outing of the season is at the Matthaei Botanical Gardens. Meet inside the doors of the Conservatory at 2 pm. Make “plein air art”, take a walk for inspiration or just sit and chat with fellow artists. Bring your camera, sketchbook or paints along with your own chair and table if needed. One of the gardens may have a pavilion we could use - more info on that as we find out more.
Admission is free. Parking is $2.20 per hour.
This is a self guided experience rain or shine. If it rains we can stay in the Conservatory and if it’s nice they have a variety of gardens like the Great Lakes Garden we can explore.
