Snap. Print. Create. Discover your photographic voice through both digital and analog techniques in this hands-on, 8-session workshop. Led by photographer and teaching artist David Horan, this class invites participants to explore the art of image-making from multiple angles—combining basic digital photography and cellphone techniques with old-school processes like cyanotype printing and DIY pinhole photography.
You’ll learn the foundations of composition, experiment with portraiture, landscape, and still life, and get introduced to beginner-friendly photo editing tools—all while unlocking your own visual style. Whether you're using a smartphone or building your own camera, this course is designed to spark creative exploration at every level.
The workshop concludes with a final exhibition at the museum, where each participant will showcase a small portfolio of original work—celebrating your growth behind the lens.
