Join us on October 9th, where another INSPIRE lecture is taking place! This time, we are visited by Sophia Connell from the University of London. In her talk, Connell discusses the philosophy and methodology of Alice Ambrose Lazerowitz. Specifically, we learn about Ambrose’s unique position in analytical philosophy, her engagement with Ludwig Wittgenstein and G.E. Moore’s works, and how she insists on a distinction between philosophical and empirical propositions. This lecture is organised by INSPIRE and takes place on South Campus in room 15A.0.13. Participation via Zoom is possible with registration. More details can be found here: https://inspire.ku.dk/events/defying-the-oracle/.
Grab your friends and come learn about more women philosophers!
We look forward to seeing you there! 🌱
The event is free and open to all.
