Join Insights North East for this masterclass exploring a range of aspects of local and regional development running over winter and spring of 2024. Each session will run for 1½ hours and will introduce a different topic with expert speakers from the worlds of research, policy and practice. As well as presentations from speakers here will be opportunities for questions and discussion. Participants can join us in person or online for these hybrid events.

This session will cover the use of data in policymaking. There is growing interest in and emphasis on data in designing policy, particularly at local and hyper-local levels. This final session will bring together experts from the worlds of research and practice in analysing and applying data to policy-making. It will focus on data sources and systems, looking at new developments in local data.
