About this Event
In conjunction with Sedrick Huckaby’s Black Bird Redemption Song exhibition, join community activist Fred Rouse III as he discusses honoring the life and legacy of his grandfather, Mr. Fred Rouse, the victim of the only recorded lynching in Fort Worth. Huckaby and Rouse III’s shared research inspired Contemplating Fred Rouse, a powerful video work imagining who Mr. Rouse might have been through repetitive drawing and erasure. Doors open at 5:30 PM, and this event is free and open to all.
