Join us on December 6th as the Office of Innovation and Commercialization hosts,
- Stephanie Davis, Ph.D., Small Business Program Coordinator at the National Heart, Lung, and Blood Institute
- Jason Conage-Pough, Ph.D., AAAS Science and Technology Policy Fellow at the National Institutes of Diabetes and Digestive and Kidney Diseases
- Xiang-Jian Lou, Ph.D., Program Director at National Cancer Institute &
- Steve Flaim, Ph.D., FAHA, the Senior Special Advisor and Investor-in-Residence at NHLBI.
Together they will offer an in-depth analysis of Federal SBIR/STTR funding, opening up about their work and the other ways the NIH, NIDDK, and NHLBI support entrepreneurship in the life sciences. Each guest will provide key insights about their respective programs and pathways for engagement followed by a moderated Q&A with host (UC San Diego Rady School of Management MBA '14), who partners and operates several university life sciences accelerator programs including the UC San Diego Venture Catalyst Program.

The easiest way to get to the DIB is by taking the MTS trolley UC San Diego Blue Line and getting off at the UC San Diego Central Campus stop. The trolley stop is a short 1 minute walk to the DIB.
