Inside Safety – Managing Risk in Elite Sports (face-to-face event)

Mark Gallagher, Formula 1 Executive and close friend of horror-crash survivor Romain Grosjean will be speaking about his experience of managing risk in one of the world’s most high-risk and dangerous sports in F1 and how those principles can be applied to the world of business.

This will be followed by a Q&A with Steve Thompson, England Rugby World Cup winner who sustained lifelong head injuries and long-term memory loss as a result of his his professional Rugby career. Steve will be talking about the injuries he sustained throughout his career and how this has resulted in early onset dementia, what more should be done to protect those within high profile, high risk sport and his hopes for the future.

Cancellation policy

This is a free event, funded through the Safety4Good foundation and Principal People, for leaders and influencers within health and safety. We believe events such as this should be free as they help to improve and add value to our profession.

We appreciate that there may be circumstances which mean that you can no longer attend the event. If you register for the event, can no longer attend and you inform us before August 23rd 2021 there will be no cancellation fee.

If you register for the event and can no longer attend and either inform us after August the 23rd or do not inform us and do not attend the event, you will be required to pay a cancellation fee of £15 which will act as a donation to the Safety4Good charity, to cover the cost of the unused ticket.
