Workshop: Saturday, Feb. 15th, 11:30 am -1pm Room 204

Regulating our emotions is a skill that even Jesus used when he expressed vulnerability to the Father, communicated powerfully with others, and spoke out about justice, joy, sadness, and holiness.
How do we interact with the world? What message do we send to others with our emotions? How can we fully experience and express joy, grief, anger, and fear in healthy and God-honoring ways? Finally, how can we go to God vulnerably, without a facade, as raw, honest, and trusting as David was in the Psalms?
Join Natalie Moultrie and Angela Powell as they discuss emotionality and the importance of balancing the expression and understanding of our emotions, exploring how this balance relates to our personal journeys, mutual respect for others in our community, and most importantly, our relationship with Jesus.
