Join the Jet Sets for the First Event of the Program Year!
On Sunday, October 6, 2024, from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM, the Very Mindful Jet Sets will embark on an empowering journey at the Spurlino YMCA, located at 9650 Old Big Bend Road, Riverview, FL 33578. Using Disney’s Inside Out 2 as their guide, the Jet Sets will participate in engaging activities like Emotion Charades, yoga sessions, and create content to raise awareness about emotions and mental health.
Through culturally relevant scenarios, team-based activities, and physical exercises, this experience will foster supportive relationships and enhance empathy. Inclusive options such as a quiet room for children with auditory and sensory needs will also be provided.
