Join us for a free, hour-long event series with Robert Holliston and special guest, lyric tenor Josh Lovell!
Whether you’re an opera lover or new to the genre, this engaging and enlightening Inside Opera session is perfect for everyone.
In this instalment, Robert Holliston and Josh Lovell explore Josh’s journey as a Victoria-born, world-class opera signer. Since making his stage debut in the Pacific Opera chorus during 2010's production of Rosinni’s La Cenerentola / Cinderella, Josh has sung in some of the largest opera houses in the world, and he returns to Victoria to share his talent and stories with us. Josh will also discuss his upcoming performance with the Victoria Symphony, where he’ll sing Finzi’s rhapsodic cantata and some of Strauss’s exquisite lieder in rich orchestral settings.
This event will include a short Q&A session—your chance to ask questions and gain insights into the performance and creative process from both Robert Holliston and Josh Lovell. Whether you're a seasoned opera enthusiast or curious about classical music, this event offers something for everyone!
