Enjoy a rare opportunity to visit inside Clayborn Temple in the midst of the ongoing restoration of her exquisite and rare Romanesque revival structure. Step into the history of Memphis, Clayborn and the Sanitation Workers Strike of 1968 through the lens of race, class and economy, and experience the majesty and storytelling in the new stained glass windows. Learn about The BIG We’s plans for Clayborn once the restoration is complete and the vision for her role in the revitalization of the neighborhood. Tours are limited to 40 people. For safety, closed-toe shoes are required. There are no bathrooms on site or nearby. Tours begin in I AM A MAN Plaza.
