Inquisition is a black metal duo formed in 1988 by guitarist/vocalist Dagon. The band, originally from Colombia, later relocated to Seattle. Known for their cosmic and occult themes, they combine raw black metal riffs with atmospheric, trance-like melodies. Dagon's deep, croaking vocal style and the precise drumming of Incubus create a distinctive, hypnotic sound. Albums like "Into the Infernal Regions of the Ancient Cult" (1998) and "Ominous Doctrines of the Perpetual Mystical Macrocosm" (2010) have earned them a strong underground following.
