Join the Kroc Institute for Peace and Justice for a Distinguished Lecture with Vidhya Ramalingam. Vidhya will share lessons learned from global efforts to end hate.
Vidhya Ramalingam is Founder and CEO of Moonshot, a company working to end online harms, applying evidence, ethics and human rights. Under her leadership, Moonshot has pioneered online intervention programs to pull individuals out of violent movements, new partnerships with tech companies to safeguard against hate in-platform, and efforts to disrupt terrorist recruitment efforts online. Vidhya is also recognized internationally for her role leading policy responses to domestic terrorism. She regularly advises Big Tech and Heads of State on tackling terrorism online, including recently the Prime Ministers of New Zealand and Norway.
Check-in begins at 5:30 PM. Theater seating is general admission and available on a first-come, first-served basis. No guests will be admitted into the theater after 6:00pm. Please factor in 15 minutes to walk or take the tram from the West Parking Structure to the theater.
