Then join us in the 13th edition of Innovation Labs clUJ Hackathon on the 22nd-23rd of March!This year, the Innovation Labs Cluj Hackathon will take place in the UTCN HUB. The 30-hour hackathon will kick off Innovation Labs’s mentorship program for students and young professionals, which will last from March to May. The program aims to develop the best business ideas and improve technology components.
What happens during the hackathon?
You pitch your idea in 1 minute in front of the jury & audience.
You inspire the audience, find team members, and build your prototype all night long.
Finally, you pitch your prototype the next day in front of the jury and hope to be selected as one of the teams to enter the mentorship program.
This edition comes with an exciting opportunity: Early Game Ventures will invest €500,000 in one of the participating teams at Innovation Labs 2025! 🎈 Participation Fee:
-Early bird: RON 25 per person, until March 14, 2025
-Regular: RON 50 per person, until March 20, 2025
The pitching part of the event will be conducted in English, offering an excellent opportunity to practice presentations in an international context.

Innovation Labs Cluj 2025 is a program organized by Asociația Tech Lounge and Cluj Startups, with the support of BRD – Groupe Société Générale, Orange România, Eviden, UiPath, Stripe Romania, Rebel Dot, Wolfpack Digital, Linify, *exceptfriday, Alicof, having the Romanian - American Foundation as an educational strategic partner, the Technical University of Cluj-Napoca as a university strategic partner, and Early Game Ventures as investment strategic partner.
The program is also implemented in collaboration with the Executive Unit for the Financing of Higher Education, Research, Development and Innovation (UEFISCDI). The program teams are offered support from our local partners in Bucharest: Adobe Romania, Keysight Technologies, NXP Semiconductors Romania, Eximprod Grup, Arctic Stream, Ortec, PentestTools, Regnology, tendersight, genezio.
Innovation Labs Cluj is a university-anchored program implemented together with our academic partners: Universitatea Tehnica din Cluj Napoca, Universitatea de Medicina si Farmacie Iuliu Hatieganu Cluj-Napoca, Universitatea Babes-Bolyai, University of Agricultural Sciences and Veterinary Medicine of Cluj-Napoca.
