Abstract
Many researchers are dissatisfied with the traditional system of scientific publishing and peer review. In this talk I will discuss the publish-review-curate model, a promising alternative to traditional approaches to scientific publishing. In the publish-review-curate model articles are first published on a preprint server and then peer reviewed openly. I will discuss the growing adoption of the publish-review-curate model and will reflect on the benefits of this model over traditional publishing approaches. In addition, I will introduce MetaROR (MetaResearch Open Review), a publish-review-curate platform for the field of meta research.
