Larry Colagiovanni is currently a key member of Madrona Venture Labs, where he engages with founders from day 0, assuming roles as a co-builder, advisor, and initial investor. In his prior role as the Chief Product and Technology Officer at Limeade, Larry contributed to enhancing employee well-being and organizational care. Notably, he held pivotal positions at eBay, including GM of the Seattle Office, VP of Marketing Technology, and VP of New Product Development. Larry initially joined eBay through the acquisition of Decide, a startup where he led engineering, guiding consumers on optimal purchase timings. Beyond his corporate pursuits, Larry is an avid outdoors enthusiast with a commitment to education, having taught with the Washington Alpine Club. His dedication extends to serving as the Chairperson of the Board for Seattle Mountain Rescue. Larry's multifaceted experiences underscore his passion for innovation, leadership, and community engagement.
Zhaohui Tang, the Chairman and Co-founder of Pacvue, a prominent eCommerce ERP platform headquartered in Seattle, has an illustrious career spanning various key roles. Before co-founding Pacvue, he served as the CEO of adSage, a globally recognized search engine marketing firm. With a solid foundation, Zhaohui spent 12 years at Microsoft headquarters as a Principal Group Program Manager for Microsoft SQL Server and Microsoft adCenter (Bing ads). His responsibilities encompassed managing projects related to data mining, OLAP, artificial intelligence, and core algorithms for Bing paid search. Zhaohui earned his Ph.D. at the French research institute Inria and Prism lab in 1996, focusing on the subject of database optimization. His extensive contributions are evident in numerous publications across academic and industrial journals, along with authoring books on data mining. Notably, he holds the distinction of being the inventor of 30 patents in the fields of information retrieval and artificial intelligence.
Dr. Helen Wang is the founder of 6crickets Expanded Learning Management Solutions which has been awarded by the prestigious National Science Foundation and served hundreds of districts throughout the nation. Helen is a renowned computer scientist. She founded and led the security and privacy research group at Microsoft Research for 14 years. Helen had served on the steering committee of top security and privacy international research conferences, such as the Oakland conference, CCS, NDSS, and Usenix Security. She has also mentored 30+ Ph.D. students. Helen received her Ph.D. in Computer Science from UC Berkeley in 2001.
