About this Event
This creative and playful workshop will take you on an imaginative journey using: writing, mini superheroes, plus zebras and giraffes. Together, the group will be curious about finding ‘inner superheroes’ and also the different ways people can identify. You will take home a mini-Lego superhero, plus a walking cardboard zebra or giraffe (dinosaur, unicorn or horse!).
Susannah Eggar is a CSA survivor who runs creative workshops for groups of survivors and people living with mental health needs. Her workshops utilise different tools of expression such as: creative writing, art, animation and timelapse film. Susannah believes that there can be colour, light, connection and expression even when things seem dark.
Arrivals from 1:45pm for a 2:00pm start.
All equipment provided.
Open to adult CSA survivors, friends and allies aged 18+
Suitable for beginners/No experience needed.
This workshop is being delivered by a trainee on the UpFront Survivors Creative Leaders Training programme supported by the Viv Gordon Company team. The 10-week training programme is designed to develop and mentor emerging CSA survivor creative leaders. All our workshops are safer spaces where professional wellbeing support and grounding activities are available as needed.

Train: The nearest train station is Montpelier, approximately 10 minutes (0.5 miles) walk or 5min taxi ride away. Temple Meads train station is approximately 30 minutes (1.3 mile) walk or 10min taxi ride.
Car Parking: The nearest large pay & display car parks are Brunswick Square (Postcode: BS1 3LJ), approx 6min (0.3 mile) walk, or Cabot Circus (BS2 9AB), which is 12min (0.6 mile) walk or 10min taxi ride away. There is limited on-street pay & display parking on the roads around the venue, however these can be difficult to find a space in.
