On paper you’re doing fine. In reality, you’re tired in a way the holiday break won’t really fix. You’re holding clients, staff, family, headlines, and a calendar that never lets up, and you’re still expected to be the steady one.
Craig originally developed this workshop while at Google, where it became a regularly requested session for managers and teams navigating constant change.
This 60-minute workshop is about training your mind like you’d train your body. We’ll use both in-the-moment tools you can rely on before a big meeting, conversation, or performance, and dedicated focused-attention practices that, over time, create real mindset shifts so you’re not running on fumes when it matters.
You will:
- See what is happening in your brain and nervous system under pressure
- Practice simple, repeatable techniques to reset quickly and refocus in the moment
- Explore longer-term “mental gym” practices to start 2026 on solid ground

About Craig Law-Smith
Craig Law-Smith is the founder of Wave Coaching, a leadership and performance coaching practice on California’s Central Coast. He works with executives, founders, small-business owners, and competitive athletes who want to stay clear and steady under pressure and perform at a high level over the long term.
He has spent over two decades in leadership roles with Nike, Samsung, Microsoft, Google, and several startups across Asia-Pacific. Most recently he lived in Japan, where he led monetization for YouTube at Google in a constantly changing, disrupted market. He was recognized among the top 1% of managers and coaches at Google and later helped design and deliver internal leadership programs.
Craig and his family recently relocated from Japan to the Central Coast. In addition to his coaching work, he teaches at Cal Poly’s Orfalea College of Business as an adjunct lecturer. His approach blends neuroscience, performance psychology, and contemplative wisdom with his background as a junior black belt and former Division I athlete, helping leaders and athletes train their minds the way they train their bodies.
