The Hanuman Chalisa is a timeless ode to devotion, a 40- verse hymn that describes & praises the life, character, and exploits of the great Hanuman.Hanuman, the son of the wind, symbolizes courage, strength, wisdom, love, humility & selfless devotion—the perfect karma yogi & the embodiment of Bhakti.
"Singing the Chalisa inspires us to try to become like Hanuman, to clean the mirror of our hearts so that we can become aware of the great beauty & love that lives within us as our own true nature." - Krishna Das
Join Lorena & Connor for an afternoon of Bhakti to deep-dive into the Hanuman Chalisa. Whether you're new to the text or have sat with it for years, this workshop is an invitation to be in community & explore the meaning of the sacred teachings together.
FLOW OF THE DAY
We'll chant the Chalisa a few times during our time together, immersing ourselves in its sweetness. We'll sit in Satsang with the verses & stories to discuss how they show up & come alive for each of us & we'll close with a brief movement & breath work practice to embody the sacred verses, inviting Hanuman to come live in our hearts.
Jai Hanuman!
