Inner Circle & Nice 2 Care join forces to bring UK artist Forest Drive West to Meanjin/ Brisbane for the first time on his debut Australian tour. @door84Forest Drive West is the alias of producer Joe Baker from East London. His music has created a stir across the UK underground and beyond, with stripped-down, atmospheric and hypnotic techno tracks contrasting with his heavier, jungle-influenced sounds.
Since 2016, Forest Drive West has been building a rapidly growing catalogue of releases, receiving critical acclaim for records on labels such as Ilian Tape, Livity Sound, Midgar, Echocord and Rupture London.
We acknowledges the Turrbal and Jagera people, the traditional custodians of the land on which we gather to dance in Meanjin/ Brisbane. We recognise and pay our respects to elder’s past, present and emerging. Always was, always will be Aboriginal land.
