An LGBTQ+ friendly inner child healing workshop - This 3 hour workshop will be held in the beautiful Bisley Yurt** (a yurt is like a bell tent!) with queer facilitators Sophie Kathleen and Gabriel Canine.During the session we will be doing 45 mins of gentle, restorative yoga lead by Sophie Kathleen (TrueYouYoga) a 30 min inner child healing lead by Gabriel and then an hour of playful arts and crafts, with some lead activities and free time!
- All materials/yoga mats etc are provided (but feel free to bring your own if you like)
- Please wear whatever you feel most comfortable to move and sit in
- A blanket
- Your jounral (if you like but paper will also be provided)
- A bottle of water
- A photo of you as a child to add to the alter (and anything else you'd like to add to the alter)
**More about the facilitators:**
Gabriel Canine (he/they/it) is a queer, trans, disabled artist and trauma informed facilitator. He is the founder and owner of BUNNYTEEF Collective and co @queerhealingcircle a Queer-led, trauma informed space for inner child healing through art.
Soph (they/them) @trueyou.yoga is a queer yoga teacher and illustrator. Soph is currently studying the Trauma Conscious Yoga method and is SUPER passionate about making yoga/spiritual spaces more inclusive and inviting to queer people. Soph’s focus is on yoga not being about becoming flexible or looking a certain way, it's about cultivating inner peace and moving in ways that feel good to you! They also run queer life drawing workshops in Guildford and London as well as other creative workshops and weekly yoga classes in person and online.
