Jana Rush is a Chicago-born-and-raised footwork DJ and producer. In 2016, Rush released MPC 7635 EP as JA Ru on Objects Ltd. – Lara Rix-Martin’s label showcasing women and non-binary artists. The EP received attention for its intricate drum arrangements.
Jana started DJing in her native Chicago aged only ten. Three years later, she started producing - releasing music with ghetto house pioneer DJ Deeon as ‘DJ Deeon Presents The Youngest Female DJ’. A decade later she re-entered the music scene - and her 2017 debut ‘Pariah’ was lauded as one of the best albums of the year by Resident Advisor, The Wire, and Crack Magazine. Her latest release, 2022’s mini-album ‘Dark Humor’, continues last year’s ‘Painful Enlightenment’ - her masterful electronic rollercoaster.
𝗛𝗼𝗻𝗲𝘆𝗱𝗿𝗶𝗽
Honeydrip has been a notable name in the Montreal underground electronic scene for a decade. Having built her reputation in the burgeoning rave scene, she is now a revered bass music producer, DJ, and speaker builder who hosts workshops for women and LGBTQ+ to get more involved in sound system culture. Her practice is heavily inspired by dub, reggae, and dancehall, which she hybridizes and explores to create her signature sound. Honeydrip has been touring as a DJ and a live performer in Europe, UK, South America, and Canada and has released on labels such as Banoffee Pies Records, Woozy, Early Reflex, and more. She continues to affiliate herself with some of the most avant-garde labels in electronic music and deepen her connection to sound system culture.
𝗘𝗸𝗮𝗹𝗶𝗳𝗳
Ekaliff is a versatile artist from Malmö, excelling in production, drumming, and DJing. As a key figure in FNGRLCKN and co-founder of the Melt crew, they have organized events that shaped the local bass scene. Their music has taken them to various stages across Sweden and Europe, including sets on Rinse France, Subtle Radio, and releases on the French label Bait. Their latest track appears on the Delphae album through the Parisian label De la... je l'espère. Ekaliff continues to influence southern Sweden’s dubstep scene, pushing the genre forward.
