About this Event
Tired of scenes where you take several lines to get to the meat? Do you avoid initiating because you’re not sure your idea is good enough? In this workshop, students will learn various ways of initiating a scene through space object work, emotional utterances, and dialogue. Strong and confident initiations help set up the scene for success and engage the audience’s interest faster. Activities will focus on listening to the initial offers made, responding in the moment, and building the scene together. Students will also learn how to avoid common stumbling blocks with initiations.
All levels are welcome to join!
