I’m proud to showcase both my Filipino 🇵🇭 inspired paintings at the · VAN GOGH Art Gallery · Madrid, Spain 🇪🇸 this coming October ✨My artworks honor my Filipino heritage as I see it in the modern world with my unique artistic style and perspective - respecting my vision of wanting to keep on feeling and living again. This is why my dream is to build my painting gallery portfolio with this whimsical, bright style of art. ✨
One of the paintings I’m exhibiting is called “General Luna” as it shows the hustle and bustle of people living in the Siargao community - shops serving coffee, selling surf boards & souvenirs, busy restos, etc 🩷truly love this painting of togetherness.
My other painting is called Sunset 🌅 Waves - as it shows the sunset colors reflected on these waves. The waves were painted with the intention of making it look like the water is moving. I placed the sunset and ocean colors on the boat to make it look cohesive with the whole Sunset Wave theme. The inspiration came from the waters of General Luna, Siargao Philippine Islands ✨
