INGENEOUS is proud to present a new collaborative education series with Dr. Lindsay and Dr. Marques. The courses have been designed to enable practitioners to effectively integrate genomics into their practice.
Ingeneous uses a brand-new premiere gene SNP panel, testing 192 of the most evidence-based genes.
This course is suitable for all health professionals with all levels of experience and interest. Non-verified CPD points are available for each course.
1. Maybe you have not yet thought about learning about the fields of epigenetics and nutrigenomics before, but now is the time! The Australian Medical Council issued a position statement in December 2020 saying that considering the potential health benefits of genetic and genomic advances, these technologies should be incorporated into everyday healthcare. This course is an opportunity for you to stay abreast of the genomics field which has been co-identified as having the capacity to improve wellness outcomes.
2. You may have taken a course on nutrigenomics, epigenetics, or another genomics field, however found it a challenge to implement in practice. At Ingeneous we pride ourselves on giving you the tools to complete your analysis in under 5 minutes making it extremely simple and time-efficient to incorporate into practice.
3. Maybe you are an active practitioner in the field of genomics. Fantastic! Our customer facing analysis (using sophisticated proprietary algorithms) and application will make the process easier and significantly reduce the time required to deliver a premium evidenced-based product in a beautifully branded user-friendly fashion.
What you will learn:
Morning Session:
Scientific topics covered include Inflammation, Detoxification and Vitamin D pathway, with a focus on nutrigenetics and nutrigenomics. Practitioners will learn about the gene SNP’s relevant to these topics. This session will also include an overview of the world of genomics - where it’s been and where it’s going.
Afternoon Session:
We will look at the genetics and genomics of exercise, lifestyle choices, supplements, prescription drugs, and micro-organisms as relevant to the topics. This course is specific to gene SNPs relevant to maintaining an optimal state of inflammation via exercise, nutritional and lifestyle patterns.
Each practitioner will come away ready to integrate genomics straight into their offering.
Inclusions:
Full day course 8am – 5pm, morning tea and lunch is provided.
8 non-verified CPD points.
16 half hour shadow practical sessions.
