Infused Butter Making

Learn the traditional and delicious art of making homemade butter alongside a Murray’s expert. Because there’s nothing as satisfying as creamy delicious infused butter during the Summer Season! Start by tasting exceptional versions of cheeses with a nod to butter fat content like decadent double cremes! Explore a selection of infusions whilst you go on your butter making adventure. Then, the real fun starts as you get hands on whipping fresh cream into solid hand-made butter and folding in your favorite flavors!

Format: guided tasting and hands-on buttermaking with a Murray’s expert in our classroom

Includes: 3 cheeses, 1 artisanal butter, heavy cream, 2 infused butter logs to take home!

In-person classes take place in the classrooms located at our Bleecker Street store. Our classrooms are located upstairs and downstairs at our venue and are therefore not wheelchair accessible.

Burrata Making is for ages 16 and up. For those under 21, non-alcoholic beverages are available as a substitution for house wine—please notify us ahead of time for proper set-up.

By registering to attend and attending Murray’s Cheese In-Person Class, Tasting, or Catered Event ( each, an “Event”), I, and on behalf of any other attendee that I have registered for the Event (collectively, “We” or “Our”) hereby waive, release and discharge any and all claims for damages or personal injury, death, or property damage which we may have or which may hereafter accrue as a result of our attendance at or participation in the Event. This release is intended to discharge, in advance, Murray’s Cheese, LLC, its affiliates, and their officers, directors, members and managers and all other members of its staff whether contracted or employed, from and against any and all liability arising out of or connected to in any way with any participation at the Event. We agree and understand that our attendance and participation at the Event is voluntary and we assume risks associated with the activity in which we will be participating. If alcoholic beverages are consumed during the Event, we understand that this may increase our risk of injury and agree not to operate a motor vehicle if we may be over the legal limit. I represent and warrant that I am authorized to provide the aforementioned waiver, release, and discharge on behalf of any attendees that I have registered for the Event.

Murray's Cheese Education department does not allow refunds after purchase, however, transfer requests made outside of 48 hours of the scheduled date will be honored.
