About this Event

We have a cooking mentorship program to teach the youth how to cook. We also have our Hot Grab and Go Meal program providing hot food on the holidays.

Open Positions:

 

Vice President

-   Provide strategic leadership and support to the President

-   Oversee various initiatives and ensure organizational goals are met

-   Collaborate with fellow board members to drive the mission forward

 

Community Director

-   Find locations where there is a need to host our Hot Grab & Go Meal Outreach Events

- Communicate closely with the IT/Social Media team for event marketing 

-   Foster partnerships with community organizations

-   Ensure support services are effective and aligned with our mission

 

Cooking Mentoring Services Team Members 

-   Manage and expand mentee cooking programs

-   Advocate for the needs and well-being of Mentees

-   Work closely with other directors to offer comprehensive support services

 

IT/Social Media Marketing Director and Team Members

- Maintain website/Social Media Management 

- Takes pictures and records videos at all events.

- Edit pictures and videos before posting to website and social media 

- Designs flyers for marketing purposes including events.

- Create and post content on all social media platforms.

- Lead the team and delegate task.

 

Event Crew Director and Crew Members

- Lead the team and delegate tasks 

- Arrives early to secure spot

- Load/unload event equipment and supplies before and after events 

- Setup/breakdown event equipment 

- Hangs and setup signage

 

Event Security Director and Team Members 

- Ensures that community members are adhering to the registration process rules

- Everyone is in a single file line and registered with a ticket 

- Crowd Control 

- Observe Equipment

 

Resource Coordinator and Team Members 

- Grant Writing 

- Grant Finding 

- Sponsorship finding 

- Search and apply for eligible funding 

- Apply for various Donations 

- Coordinate Fundraisers 

 

Clerical Director and Team Members 

- Event Registration sign-in

- Data Entry

- Create Reports

- Answer calls 

- Take messages 

- Respond to emails 


Hospitality Director and Team Members Event Registration

- Food Servers

- Food Expeditors 

- Cooks

- Support 

 

Minimum Qualifications:

-   Administrative/IT experience 

- Cooking experience is a MUST 

- Excellent Customer Service skills 

- Reliable and Dependable 

-   Strong leadership and communication skills

-   A passion for community service and nonprofit work
