Session 1) Zoom Call: Link will be sent via email 24 hours before the session, and again 30 minutes before the session.
Session 2) In-Person: Meet in front of Russ & Daughters inside the lobby of Building 77 (141 Flushing Ave at Vanderbilt Ave).
** The group will be walking outside for approximately 1/4 mile over 45 minutes. The route is on a flat sidewalk that runs along Flushing Ave. **
DESCRIPTION
The Brooklyn Navy Yard Development Corporation is seeking submissions for public art along part of its Flushing Ave. fence line to be installed in 2025. This Information Session is for creatives interested in learning more about the project.
A full Request For Proposals (RFP) can be found. PLEASE READ THIS BEFORE THE SESSION. BNYDC staff will NOT be going over the details of the RFP, but instead focusing on key questions derived from the RFP.
With your reservation for an Information Session, you can submit questions in advance. You may also bring questions to either one of the sessions. Following the sessions, BNYDC will publish a full Q & A for the 2025 RFP for Public Art no later than Friday, December 6, 11:59 p.m. It will be posted here: https://www.brooklynnavyyard.org/exhibits/.
