We want YOU this summer - Nelson Surf Life Saving ClubWe are on the hunt for suitable candidates that meet the following requirements:
- Aged 14 + years
- Capable swimmer
Training takes place every Sunday arvo leading up to the exam in Early December. In this training you will learn surf related skills, rescue techniques, and first aid. After passing your exam you will be ready to join the patrol roster and the Club.
As a qualified lifeguard you'll be joining a family of great people who have a love for the surf and keeping their community safe.
As part of the Club you can:
~ Learn new skills
~ Make new friends and be part of our lifesaving family
~ Have access to ongoing training and development
~ Get fit
~ Learn and compete in surf sports
~ Access to a range of equipment to up skill in and on the water
~ Gain points towards the Duke of Edinburgh Award
~ Leadership pathways
~ Learn how to save lives
