Metro is working to design and build a cultural heritage and healing garden at Block 14 of Lone Fir Cemetery. The memorial will honor members of marginalized communities who were buried at Lone Fir, including thousands of Chinese and Chinese American people, as well as patients from the Oregon Hospital for the Insane.Over the last year, input has been gathered from a series of engagements, and this input has informed a design option for the future memorial garden. Metro would like your feedback on this design. Join Metro staff and members of the design team at Block 14 as they share information about the site's history and the project's future.
You do not need to have attended earlier engagements to participate in this event. The project team will provide a brief overview to bring everyone up to speed.
