Info: Have you recently taken on record keeping duties for your organisation? What is the State Archives Act? Have you been working in the records space for a while but would like a refresher? The morning session is designed for those working in records in State and Local government, and other State Authorities. It provides an overview of information management principals as well as a focus on the issues facing records managers today.

Info: The afternoon session looks at the process of appraisal and sentencing of records. We look at how disposal works, and the appraisal process. We explore disposal schedules and how to interpret them, the transfer and destruction of records; and digitisation projects.
