The third annual InFocus: An Open Forum for Diverse Storytellers returns for an evening of community building and ideas exchange. Connect with talented BIPOC, LGBTQIA+, non-binary, and cisgender women media makers at all stages of their careers, from emerging creatives to established industry leaders, and join us in celebrating creativity and 20 years of the BAYCAT community!

Enjoy small bites and beverages while hearing from like-minded creatives and having meaningful, facilitated conversations about the ever-evolving landscape of the media industry, and how to best navigate it. Be part of the conversation to shape the future of the Bay’s creative media industry!

Our COVID-19 policy

BAYCAT is committed to keeping our community safe, especially BIPOC communities who have and continue to be most impacted by COVID and long COVID. We understand that there are various levels of comfort when it comes to large indoor events and want as many people as possible to feel like they can attend InFocus.

Above the Rim is an indoor event space with an outdoor terrace, so you will have the option to eat outdoors based on your comfort.

We ask that you do not attend the event if you are experiencing any COVID-related symptoms, regardless of a negative test, and will gladly offer a refund due to unexpected illness. Please reach out to [email protected] with any questions.
