Kia ora team,You’re invited to an Inflatable Jet Boat run on Sunday 12 October 2025.
Where: Woodstock, Waimakariri River
Launch open: 9:30am
Briefing: quick on-shore briefing
Departure upstream: 10:00am sharp
We’ll start on the Waimakariri and head up into Broken River. It’s a friendly run designed for everyone, and it’s especially good if you’re keen to build confidence, meet new people, and learn the lines together. We’ll stop for lunch at Broken River Hut, then make our way back down stream.
Highlights include the high sided gorges, some classic braided sections, the railway viaduct, Avoca Homestead (which we will stop at for a look), and a great lunch spot at the hut.
Expect boating some awesome boating.
Please bring
• Your inflatable with safety kit and spares
• Fuel for the day 3-4 hours
• Lunch, snacks, and water
• Suitable clothing for alpine conditions
