Participants are draped in blankets, cocooned in total relaxation, as the haunting melodies of Icaro Medicine Music fill the air. With eyes closed and hearts open, they surrender to the ancient rhythms, each note resonating deeply within their beings. As the Icaros weave their mystical spell, a profound sense of peace descends upon the gathering, transcending the boundaries of time and space. In this moment of collective harmony, surrounded by the energy of healing and love, participants are transported to a realm of profound inner exploration and renewal.
What is Icaro Medicine Music: Icaro is the name for a healing song or melody used by the curanderos (most commonly used term to describe healers) in their rituals. It has a very deep and important meaning, a sound like no other, as the words of each song are unique and full of healing intentions.
As we commence our evening, we gather in a circle, settling in to set intentions, open our hearts, and connect to the experience ahead. We begin by engaging our sense of taste with tea of the blue lotus, opening and expanding our hearts and our senses in preparation for the journey ahead.
Moving forward, our senses of sight are greeted by something truly magical, a sight which brings excitement for what’s to come… You are guided to either your hanging silk hammock, where you'll be suspended mid-air, experiencing gentle movements and flow, or to your grounded velvet haven, where you'll feel deeply connected to Mother Earth, sensing her embrace and support beneath you.
The sense of smell is also present here as healing oils and scents are diffused into the air, blending with the evening, enveloping you in a comforting and soothing embrace.
Next, we are embraced by the sensations of touch. The silk, the velvet, the textures, and the softness surround us, comforting and holding us in a safe space where we feel weightless and secure. Surrendering to the embrace of the cosmos itself, each moment becomes an invitation to let go and be fully enveloped in a state of tranquil serenity.
Finally, we immerse ourselves in the sounds. *Hammocks do have a 275 lb weight restriction. No restrictions on our Velvet Floor Havens. Please reach out with questions.
*Space is extremely limited for these events with 12 silk hammocks and 10 velvet havens so we do Sell Out Quickly!
