All the details...
Saturday August 17th 10:30-1pm at Goodhub in Goodwood, South Australia.
Single ticket (admits one) - $77

Your workshop ticket includes light refreshments and a copy of Hannah's Thriving Beyond the First Six Weeks Ebook - containing over 50 pages of education, practical tips and strategies for navigating breastfeeding, sleep and emotional wellbeing in the first year postpartum (valued at $37).

With a myriad of sleep training options out there (both gentle and not-so-gentle!) is can be overwhelming trying to work out what to do.
New parents are often bombarded with ads on social media in support of old school sleep training strategies, or fear based marketing that pulls them away from their parenting instincts.
There is no one way to approach infant sleep, but my aim is to give you evidence based strategies that you can use to support your baby’s sleep (and your sleep too!), as well as tips and advice for making the days with your little one as easy and enjoyable as possible.
My aim with this workshop is for parents to attend BEFORE their baby is born so they don't get pulled into the sleep training culture that is so dominant. This information is most relevant for babies from birth-6 months of age, however the principles also apply into toddlerhood.

What you will learn about...
Understanding Newborn Development + Attachment.
How we can support Attachment with our babies, and responsive parenting for brain building.
What is biologically normal infant sleep?
What does the research tell us about wake windows, strict sleep routines and the impact of sleep training on breastfeeding?
What can we do to improve our baby's sleep?
Sleep pressure and why this is so important for good sleep.
Setting your baby's circadian rhythm - as they have been in darkness for 9 months!
How to increase your rest during tricky sleep periods.
Sensory needs for babies and ways to fill their sensory cup while getting out and enjoying your days.
What to expect around breastfeeding/bottle feeding over the first six months.
Supporting your emotional wellbeing during matrescence.
Self care strategies that you can do with your baby.

As a Neuroprotective Developmental Care (NDC) Practitioner I incorporate lactation science, neuroscience, evolutionary biology, sleep science, attachment psychology and acceptance and commitment therapy into my work with parents to really provide holistic sleep + maternal wellbeing support.
Cant wait to see you there!
