Infant Island has become a revered name in the DIY heavy music circuit partially due to the reach of their incredible records 'Infant Island' (2018) and 'Beneath' (2020). Their sound has reached into the corners of emo, 90s screamo, and shoegaze but has grown into a matured, sharp sound that pushes into the territory of black metal more than anything. Their live performances are visceral, loud, and certain to leave you wanting more.

.gif from god have garnered similar acclaim. Their 2020 album 'approximation_of_a_human' (Prosthetic Records) was an amalgam of myspace grindcore, mathcore, sasscore, and screamo.
