This class is designed to prepare new parents for unexpected emergencies.
Learn American Heart Association (AHA) life-saving CPR skills. The class focuses on infant resuscitation, relief of choking, basic pediatric first aid, and infant safety in the home.
This class uses American Heart Association research-proven practice-while-watching-technique. Students will receive AHA course materials for ongoing reference and a course completion card.
Instruction includes hands-on CPR practice.
This class is taught by FĒNOM Nurse Practitioner Alexis Winchester, WHNP. Alexis has 5 years experience as a Labor & Delivery nurse working in L&D, OB emergency, and infant care. She is certified in advanced fetal monitoring, inpatient obstetrics, BLS, ACLS, & NRP.
*** Class space is currently limited due to COVID-19 restrictions. Masks are required. This class is held every other month and requires a minimum sign up to be held. Class includes a completion card but does not issue exam/certification.
