The Industry Remix Series is a new, community-centered networking experience designed to bring together professionals from different industries to spark connection, collaboration, and fresh perspective.
Our inaugural event brings together Rhode Island K–12 educators and Rhode Island small business owners — two groups that play a vital role in shaping our communities, workforce, and local economy.This is not a panel, happy hour, or vendor fair. It’s a thoughtfully guided, relationship-driven experience focused on meaningful conversation — not sales pitches.
What to expect:
• Guided conversation rounds connecting educators and business owners
• Structured networking designed to feel natural and purposeful
• Interactive moments for shared insight and collaboration
• A welcoming, professional environment that respects your time
Participants will also contribute to a Story Swap Wall, responding to shared prompts about challenges, opportunities, and collaboration across industries. Insights gathered will be synthesized into a post-event Industry Remix Collective Statement, shared with attendees after the event.

• Rhode Island small business owners
Educators and small business owners attend as participants, not vendors.
A limited number of community partners will be present to support the experience and share resources without disrupting the flow of the event.
