Can also purchase on the day of the event at the facility. The membership is a one time payment, and is not a locked-in contract like other gyms.
No AMA or VAM membership required to fly.
UMX sized planes are suggested. No carbon fiber propellers allowed. Helicopters will be inspected onsite and determined if ok by Xcel and VAM representatives. drones/quads should have prop guards for safety please.
Xcel and VAM club safety officials have right to deny unsafe flying.
Clean Gym shoes or socks are only allowed in the gym to protect the wood floors from sand and salt damage. please bring clean gym shoes, or clean socks. this rule is required by Xcel to allow us to fly in the gym. this rule will be enforced.
The flying location is at the Xcel Sportsplex attached to the Alliance Church. Please see the photo in the Discussion section of this Event post to see which door to enter.
