About this Event
Come and join us for a fun afternoon of easy-to-learn sports. We will be playing Boccia, which is an Italian game similar to bowls and petanque. We will also be playing New Age Kurling, which is similiar to the curling seen in the Winter Olympics, except that it uses wheels rather than ice. Both games are designed to be played sitting down, so this session is great for people who have difficulty standing. Kurling can be played by people with visual impairments as it uses a numbered score board. Our staff will demonstrate how to play, so why not come along and give it a try!
